Fat Loss

Results Driven

Thrive coaches can guide you through your fat loss journey at your own pace, you decide.

For some clients, a rapid, focused block of time is what's required to motivate them. For others the slow and steady pace wins the race. Everyone is different. We can go stricter, or we can take our time.

In fact, many of our great client results have taken between half a year or more and that's fine.

The Process

To keep you accountable and progressing towards your goals we track a variety of metrics. Photos, body measurements, scale weight, step counts, you name it, we track as much or as little as you desire.

Why Thrive?

The reality is that maintaining the results after you get them is the next part of the journey. You cannot go back to your old ways and expect your results to stick around.

This is what sets Thrive apart, our flexible approach to the individual and our after care.

We take how ever long you need to get the results and then work hard to develop strategies to help you sustain them. Most gyms get their photos for marketing and wave good bye.

You get out what you put in

We provide you with everything you need to get results, but it's you that needs to put the work in behind the scenes. Dieting can be stressful for many, especially alongside work and family life. You have to really want it and be in a good place mentally because it requires change on your part.

If you are open to change, willing to put in the work and are coachable, then the results are there to be had.

FAQs

  • Unfortunately we cannot guarantee timeframes as everyone is different. There is one thing for sure however, you get out what you put in. The more commitment to the plan we see, the better the results.

You must be in the appropriate stage of change to be able to make the necessary adjustments to your diet and lifestyle needed. If you are not ready then the process will naturally take longer.

  • Spot reduction is a myth at best. Only through sustaining a calorie deficit for long enough can we expect to see general reductions in body fat.

  • Yes, the diet or achieving a ‘calorie deficit’, is the primary driver of body weight/fat losses. Without being in a deficit, you will not see any changes. As the old saying goes ‘you can’t out train your diet’.

  • You can still keep your social life while dieting, but it will take some adjustments to do so. We cannot expect to keep the same habits that have enabled us to gain weight when we diet.

That said, busy social lives and uncontrolled weekends are the biggest issues we encounter with clients who wish to lose weight.

  • The majority of our clients travel for work and still achieve great results. Is it harder? Yes, but we help to prepare you for the inevitable obstacles that will come your way.

  • Once you have hit your goals we work together to instil you with the habits and knowledge needed to maintain the results. We believe that one of the keys to long term weight management lies in after care, something we place a lot of emphasis on.
